Who would have thought that two teenagers from Lucan would appear on X-Factor, have Simon Cowell describe them as irritating, and be voted off 3 weeks before the live final, would then go on to become one of the most successful acts to ever come out of a TV talent show. Identical twins John & Edward Grimes better known as Jedward have rapidly become the most popular teenage pop artists not just in Ireland, but also in the UK and right across Europe.

The Jedward pop phenomenon has seen the duo’s debut album ‘Planet Jedward’ hit triple platinum sales, they have toured extensively with sold out shows across Ireland and the UK and sold out a staggering 42,000 tickets for their first pantomime performance - Cinderella at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre in 2010. In 2011 they sold over 50,000 tickets for their latest panto 'Jedward and the Beanstalk'! The Jedward phenomenon became an even bigger machine when they took to the stage on May 12th 2011 in Dusseldorf to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest with they’re hit single “Lipstick” , and as a result their single went to No.1 in five European countries.

Thanks to their enthusiastic attitudes and contagious energy both on and off stage the handsome twins have developed a huge following of devoted fans throughout Europe and right across the world..... growing by the day. 2011 also saw the twins release their second album 'Victory' which soared to no.1 in the Irish charts! They also appeared in channel five's revamped Celebrity Big Brother and thanks to their fun personalities and popularity they managed to stay in the house right up until the live final.

The demand for the twins is so great, that they toured twice last year! First in April 2011 with their 'Bad Behavior' tour and again in August with their 'Carnival Tour'. They ended the year with a huge advertising campaign for 3 Mobile and they're own 'Jedward' branded mobile phone! They also managed to squeeze in their own TV show at Christmas 'Jedward's Dream Factory' where the lovable twins made young children's dreams come true. Jedward were recently voted again by the public to represent Ireland in this years Eurovision. They're song 'Waterline' is already attracting lots of positive attention from across Europe! They toured Europe, Ireland and the UK already this year with their new 'Victory' tour and are set to release their third album this Summer, followed by another string of new tour dates.
