Charles Pasi is an artist to whom nothing seems to resist. His first album “Mainly Blue” was unanimously welcomed in the musical community and caught the eye by reaching the final of the Memphis International Blues Challenge in February 2007. This talented singer and harmonica player quickly built a good reputation which allowed him to play all over the world in France, Spain, Italy, Holland, Hungary, Russia, USA and Canada where he performs regularly.
`
To record his second album, Charles got together with the bass player Jimi Sofo, the guitarist Jim Grandcamp and drummer Jon Grandcamp, as well as several exceptional guests such as the legendary jazzman Archie Shepp.
They participated in creating a masterpiece where lullabies coexist with hard rock, soul, jazz, funk and even bits of raga. An album full of nuances, rhythm and a real openness to the rest of the artistic world, an album that ressembles him, elegant and full of musicalityl.”
